Assisi-Italy Thursday
"Calendimaggio" is a reenactment of the town of Assisi, which takes place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the first week of May. Medieval costumes, knights and ladies sing serenades, walking the streets of the city lavishly decorated with flowers, flags, and during the night, lit by torches.
In this particular frame, theater, singing, choirs, concerts, dances, performances of archers, crossbowmen and flag bearers, see compete in an imposing challenge the two factions ancient medieval "Upper Part" and "Lower Part".
